　　哈囉！我是途中都蘭的主人BoBo，是一個非常喜歡寶可夢、單車運動的台北男孩，我在東海岸生活五年了，對衝浪沒有愛，留下來是因為我喜歡東部遠離塵囂的感覺，不喜歡喝酒、熱鬧的聚會，但歡迎您揪投緣的背包客一起都蘭夜生活。

　　都蘭是一個慢活天堂，它很平凡，卻能讓你忘掉都市的喧囂與繁雜心情，晴天可以去海邊曬太陽、衝浪，雨天可以躲在溫馨的背包客棧閱讀、寫作、追劇，來過的背包客都覺得Chill。此外，這裡離台東市區只有30分鐘車程，進城採買、逛街、看電影、吃大餐…相當便利，堪稱海線機能最佳的村落。

　　我是一位有教師證任教三年、辭職教師工作的平凡年輕人，因為第一間服務的學校在長濱鄉，從此展開東部的奇幻旅程。住過大大小小的背包客棧，我開始嚮往自己也能經營一個小空間，讓前來的旅客有回家的感覺，如果你正面臨失業失戀失去人生方向，途中都蘭會是你要找的空間。

　　途中都蘭的前身叫「背包狗」，是都蘭史上第一間背包客棧，原經營者Kai和Party在2010年把紐西蘭背包客棧的味道帶進這空間，當年這裡只是個鄉下老空屋，他們一手改造成現今溫馨的青旅。11年過去了，他們譜出來的都蘭圖畫已完成，現在的背包狗已搬家到台東市區（地址：台東縣台東市文化街10號）

　　途中都蘭的定位是青年旅館，全館只有背包房、單/雙人雅房及公共衛浴，由於每位房客的作息都不同，除了請晚睡的您放低音量，本館也提供免費耳塞（在老衛浴旁邊），良好的住宿品質需要你我一起維護。

The Letter of the host 2023

Hi there! I'm BoBo, the owner of On My Way Dulan. I'm a Taipei boy who loves Pokémon and cycling. I've been living on the east coast for five years now. I'm not into surfing, but I love the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I don't like drinking or noisy parties, but I welcome backpackers who share similar interests to enjoy the night life in Dulan.

Dulan is a paradise for slow living. It's nothing extraordinary, but it can make you forget the noise and complexity of the city. On a sunny day, you can go to the beach for sunbathing or surfing, and on a rainy day, you can stay in the cozy hostel to read, write, or watch TV. Backpackers who have been here all think it's chill. Moreover, it's only a 30-minute drive from Taitung City, which is very convenient for shopping, watching movies, or enjoying fancy meals. It's arguably the best village with excellent functionality along the seaside.

I'm just an ordinary young man who had been teaching for three years with a teaching certificate; however I quit my teaching job. My first school was located in Changbin Township, which opened up my fantastic journey in the east coast. After living in many hostels of all sizes, I began to dream of running my own small space, making visitors feel at home. If you're facing unemployment, love loss, or losing direction in life, On My Way Dulan will be the place you're looking for.

On My Way Dulan used to be called "Backpacker Dog," the first hostel in the history of Dulan. Kai and Party, the original hosts, brought the feeling of New Zealand hostels to this space in 2010. It was just an old rural house at that time, and they and I  transformed it into today's warm youth hostel. Eleven years have passed, and the picture of “Dulan Backpacker Dog” they drew has been completed. Backpacker Dog has now moved to the cultural street in Taitung City (Address: No. 10, Wenhua St., Taitung City, Taitung County 959 , Taiwan (R.O.C.).

The positioning of On My Way Dulan is a youth hostel. The whole hostel only has backpacker rooms, single/double rooms, all with shared bathrooms. Since every guest has different schedules, please lower your volume if you're staying up late, and the hostel provides free earplugs (next to the old bathroom). Good accommodation quality needs to be maintained by both you and me.

Finally, I have a small request. It's not easy for a young man to start his business with loans, and I need your generous support 👍🏾.
